I knew these were scarce, and I never expected to even win the lot, but sometimes ebay is your friend. Due to what I can only assume was a seller's grave mistake (lack of knowledge, laziness, or whatever...), a lot of 6 of these ticket folders ended a few weeks back with me holding the winning bid. Delivered price for the half dozen you ask? $14.11!

Included in the lot were 4 copies of the Larry Sherry, which is not even listed in my Beckett or SCD, 1 copy of the Gil Hodges and 1 copy of the Wally Moon. These are not gradable examples, but they are nice. Sadly, Hodges is the worst of the bunch with numerous light creases. Moon has a nice grease stain and most, if not all, had staples/holes in them. I am guessing they were
stapled to the bags of Fritos, so one would expect holes or even a remaining staple with this issue. I noticed 2 different back colors, but from what I can tell, these are all the same year. Each says "World Champion Dodgers" and has a copyright of 1960 and a schedule for the 1960 season inside, which makes sense, since the Dodgers were champs in 1959. There are also 2
different slogans for the Sherry cards. I have three copies that say "Fritos are a hit every time!". They have the black back. I have one copy that says "Fritos go over great at home plate!". This one has the red back. The inside differs slightly as well, with the black back versions having a yellow Jr. Guest ticket and game list, where the red back has a white Jr. Guest ticket and game list.

Needless to say, this Dodger collector is quite happy to have these babies safely in hand!!
