Here comes 2011

Here is a brief good-bye to 2010. I started my blog in 2010. Although my attention to this project is anything but consistent, I do have fun now and again sharing some random thoughts with everyone. Maybe next year I will be a little more focused?

There seemed to be a disproportionate number of baseball (and sports) deaths in 2010, but maybe it was just me. We lost a number of greats as well as some journeymen. I collect signed cards, so admittedly I watch the obits, looking for the next now suddenly hard to find (and expensive) autograph, hoping I already had one. I'm hoping 2011 will be a quieter year for this habit. I think we are down to 50 living Brooklyn Dodger players now, lead by HOFer Duke Snider. I'll never have the courage to send off my 1949 Bowman Snider card for a TTM autograph, but sure wish I could. That card would be incredible!
